| We originally planned to produce a Cyrillic 3 Standard version and, later, a Cyrillic 3 Research Version. The research version was planned to include all the features of Cyrillic 3 Standard Version (database integration, new interface, risk analysis). In addition we planned to include genetic marker data features and haplotyping in the Research Version. Instead of the Research version, we plan to produce a single, unified, new version of Cyrillic, codenamed "Universal". This will be a direct replacement upgrade for all users currently using either Cyrillic 2 or 3. More details of Cyrillic Universal will appear on this web site shortly. If you plan to work with any of these additional features (many currently available in Cyrillic 2.1), you’ll need to order, or continue to work with, Cyrillic 2.1. |
